Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim, Today’s topic of discussion is Dua when leaving home or house in Arabic and English.
Dua when leaving home (Dua No. 1)
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللّٰهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ
Pronunciation: bismillahi tawakkaltu ‘alalla-hi, la-hawla wala-quwwata illa- billa-h.
Meaning: I went out in the name of Allah. I trusted in Allah; there is no way or power except Allah.
Dua for leaving the house (Dua No. 2)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِلَّ أَوْ أُضَلَّ أَوْ أَزِلَّ أَوْ أُزَلَّ أَوْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ أَوْ أَجْهَلَ أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عَلَىَّ
Pronunciation: All-Humma inni a’uzubiqa an azilla aw ujalla, aw ajilla aw ujhalla aw azlima aw uzlama, aw ajhala aw yuzhala alaiyya.
Meaning: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from going astray or being led astray, committing a sin or leading to corruption, oppressing or being oppressed, ignorant or ignorant.
Hadith of Dua for leaving home
Hadith No. 1
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ: إِذَا خَرَجَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ بَيْتِه فَقَالَ: بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللّٰهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ يُقَالُ لَه حِينَئِذٍ هُدِيتَ وَكُفِيتَ وَوُقِيتَ فَيَتَنَحّٰى لَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ وَيَقُولُ شَيْطَانٌ اٰخَرُ: كَيْفَ لَكَ بِرَجُلٍ قَدْ هُدِىَ وَكُفِىْ وَوُقِىَ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَرَوَى التِّرْمِذِىُّ إِلٰى قَوْلِه: الشَّيْطَانُ
Narrated by Anas (RA):
He said: The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: When a person leaves his house and says,
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللّٰهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ
Pronunciation: bismillah-hi tawakkaltu ‘alall-hi, la-hawla wala-quywata illa- billa-h.
Meaning: I came out in the name of Allah, I trusted in Allah, there is no way, no power except Allah)-
Then he is told, if he gets the way, if he gets the means, and if he is safe. So the Shaytaan went away from him and another Shaytaan said to this Shaytaan, what can you do to a person who has been guided, guided, and protected?

Dua before entering the bathroom & Dua for leaving the toilet
Hadith No. 2
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ مَا خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ بَيْتِي قَطُّ إِلاَّ رَفَعَ طَرْفَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَقَالَ “ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِلَّ أَوْ أُضَلَّ أَوْ أَزِلَّ أَوْ أُزَلَّ أَوْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ أَوْ أَجْهَلَ أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عَلَىَّ ” .
Narrated by Umm Salamah (RA):
He said, Whenever the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) would leave my house, he would raise his head towards the sky and say:
