On the authority of Makil Ibn Yasar (RA):
He said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Whoever gets up (from sleep) in the morning and says three times, “A’Uzu Billa-His Sami’il ‘Alimi Minash Shaitwa-Nir Razim” and then recites the last three verses of Surah Hashr, Allah will Ta’ala will appoint seventy thousand Malak (angels) for him. They will continue to pray for him till evening. If he dies on this day, it will be Shahid’s death. A person who recites this dua during the evening will also get this same status. Imam Tirmizi said this hadith is poor.
Tirmidhi 2922, Ahmad 20306, Daremi 3468, Muzamul Kabir Lit Tabarani 537, Shuabul Iman 2272, Zaif at Targhib 379, Zaif al Jami’ 5732.
The hadith is Ja’if or weak, because in its sanad Khalid ibn Tahman is a weak rabbi.
On the authority of Makil Ibn Yasar (RA):
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever gets up in the morning and says “Awzu Billahis Sami’il Alimi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem” three times, then recites the last three verses of Surah Al-Hashr, Allah Ta’ala will appoint seventy thousand angels for him. They will continue to make dua for him till evening. If he dies on that day, he will die as a martyr. A person who recites such in the evening will also possess the same glory.
Meshkat 2157, Taliqur Ragib (2/225)
Abu Isa said: This hadith is poor.
The hadith is Ja’if or weak because in its Sanad Khalid ibn Tahman is a frail rabbi.
The above hadith about the virtue of reciting the last three verses of Surah Hashar in the morning and the evening has been narrated from only one companion, Jaif according to most Muhaddiseen. Since morning and evening are also mentioned in various sahih hadiths, there are many meritorious acts, so we should give more importance to them. Particular emphasis should be given to reading Ayatul Kursi.
