On the authority of Abdullah Ibn Abbas (RA):

He said, The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, once visited a sick Bedouin. And when he went to see a patient, he used to say, (la-basa tuhurun Insha-Allah) don’t be afraid, God willing you will get well soon. This disease will become the reason for your purification. According to this rule, he consoled the Bedouin and said, ‘Don’t be afraid, you will be fine. By Allah’s will it will become your sanctification. Hearing his words, the Bedouin said, “Not at all.” Instead, a fever breaks out in an old man’s body. It will take him to the grave. Hearing his words, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, Well, if you understand that, then that will be the case for you.

Narrated by Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her):

He said, When one of us was sick, the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, would put his right hand on the patient and say, (Azhibil Ba’s, Rabban Nas, Wafi Angtash Shafi La-Shifa-a Illa- Shifauka Shifaan La- Yugadiru Saqq-ma .)
