Fi Amanillah meaning
Fi Amanillah ‘في أمان الل’ is an Arabic phrase, made up of two words. The first word fi is a preposition, meaning ‘in’ or ‘at’. The second word, Amanillah, means Allah’s security. So, Fi Amanillah means in the safety of Allah.
Fi Amanillah means ‘I entrust you to Allah’s protection’.
When to say fi Amanillah or why it is said
Fi Amanillah means ‘I entrust you to Allah’s protection’. The purpose of saying Fi Amanillah for someone is to seek Allah’s safety or to pray to Allah to grant him security or keep him safe. The word is said to pray for someone in different situations at different times. Some of them are mentioned below:-
If someone wants to pray for him, it is called fi Amanillah.
Fee Amanillah is said to say goodbye to someone who is going on a journey or returning home.
To pray for a sick person is called Fi Amanillah.
Jazakallah Khair or Jazakallahu Khairan in Arabic with meaning
The word fi Amanillah is beautiful and sounds from a financial point of view. So the word can be said to pray for someone, but it cannot be considered as Sunnah, or it cannot be said as-Sunnah. Because the Prophet and his Companions did not say that. It is not confirmed by any authentic hadith. So, Fi Amanillah can be said, but it will not be Sunnah. And we should act according to the Sunnah. Therefore, it is more beneficial for us to recite the dua taught by the Prophet without saying Fi Amanillah. In all cases where a large amount of fee Amanillah is said, the following is the prayer that Rasulullah SAW used to recite:-
1. Dua for whoever wants dua
Allahummakshi ma lahu wa waladahu wa atwil umrahu wagfir lahu wa barik lahu fima rajaqtahu.
O Allah! You increase his money, children, and age. And forgive him and bless him with the sustenance you have given him.

2. Dua to say goodbye to someone who is going on a trip or returning home
Astawdi’ullah-ha dinakum wa ama-natakum wa khawa-tima a’ma-likum.
I entrust your religion and deposits, as well as your last deeds, to the protection of Allah.

Phi Hifzillah wa Phi Kanafillah.

3. Prayer for a sick person
La-basa tuhurun ingsha-Allah
Don’t worry, Allah is willing that you recover soon. This disease will become the reason for your purification.

The answer to Fi Amanillah, or what to say in answer to it
Fi-Amanillah has no answer. Fi Amanillah means in the protection of Allah. So here, after saying fi Amanillah, there is no need to give any kind of reply.
