He used to say Subhanallahi Wa Bihamdihi ten times Subhanal Malikul Quddus ten times and Astagfirullah and La Ilaha Illallah ten times. Then he used to say: O Allah! The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah created every human being with 360 glands. So whoever says ‘Allah-ah-Akbar’, says ‘Alhamdu Lillah’, says ‘La-ilaha illallah’, says ‘Subhanallah’, Astaghfirullah will declare, remove a stone or a thorn or a bone from the path of man, enjoin good deeds and forbid evil deeds, he will walk on the Day of Resurrection in such a way that he will save himself from the Hellfire amounting to 360 (glands). Please keep it away; it will live. Abu Tawbah also mentioned in his narration that he would spend the evening in this state. (E.F. 2199, E.C. 2001)

Narrated by Aisha (RA):
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite this dua in large numbers: “Subha-Nalla-Hi Wabi Hamdihi Astaghfirullah Wa Atubu Ilaih”. That is, “Great Holy God. All praise goes to him. I ask Allah for forgiveness, I repent to Him, I repent.” Rabi said, I said, O Messenger of Allah! I have seen you say this more often “subha-nalla-hi wabi hamdihi astagfirullah-ha watubu ilaihi”.
Rabi said He said: My Lord has given me the good news that I will soon see a sign among my Ummah. When I see that sign, I recite this dua more often: “Subha-nalla-hi wabi Hamdihi astaghfirullah Wa Atubu Ilaih”. That sign is probably this “Iza-za-a Nasrullah-hi Wal Fatah…”. That is, “When the help of Allah comes and the victory is won (ie-Makkah victory), you will see, groups of people enter the religion of Allah; Then glorify your Lord with praise and seek His forgiveness. Undoubtedly, he is very accepting of repentance. (Surah An-Nasr).
